Application:Name:Class:Level:Race:What's your real first name and age? What time zone are you in? Did you pass your eighth grade English class? - My name is Brian and I'm 21. I live in Colorado which is U.S. mountain time. I did in fact pass English in the 8th grade.
Please provide an armory link to your gear. PLEASE LOG OUT IN YOUR PVE GEAR. Which glyphs do you use for raiding and why?- http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Frostwolf&n=Prowse
I use Blood spec related glyphs which would include Major: Glyph of Death Strike (DPS increase), Glyph of Dancing Rune (DPS increase for burst usage), and Glyph of Disease to disease "roll" which allows me to reapply my diseases after I get full buffs and keep those on their while only using one rune, increasing damage. What spec are you and why did you select this spec? What gear and experience do you have with other specs (if applicable)?
- I am Blood/Unholy because I love the play style, the survivability, and the ability to DPS 1-2 targets very well. I also have Strength and hit gear for an Unholy DPS build if preferred by the guild. I have lots of experience with Unholy/blood.
List some of the resources you use to learn how to better play your class.- To learn about the class I usually tend to stay away from worldofwarcraft.com for obvious reasons. I usually stick to elitistjerks.com, asking people in top guilds (even of different servers), and asking friends for advice. I also have been playing WoW since Easter of release so I know the game fairly well.
Describe your typical dps/healing/tanking rotation in a raid environment. (Tell us briefly how you play your class.)
- Usually in a 1 target rotation I stick to Icytouch-Plauge Strike-Heart Strikex2- Death Strike- Deathcoil, Howl of Winter (for RP), then Death Strike, Heart Strikex4 and repeat. I also add a ghoul when able and when I have four death runes I pop dancing rune weapon with hysteria/trinkets/blood fury to increase damage when needed. I use this rotation because it maximizes damage while keeping runic power stable and runes on cool down. Once my diseases have max buffs I switch out Icy Touch and Plauge strike for another Death Strike and one Heart Strike for Pestilence to keep diseases up. If shit hits the fan I pop Vampiric Blood and try to Deathstrike spam to stay alive.
What keys are your five most-used skills bound to? What are your movement keys? Do you use your mouse to move and turn your character?- My most used spells are 2,3,4,5,Shift-4,Shift5. I use these keys because they are easy to reach and spam. My movement keys are WASDQE (default). I use my mouse to turn, move, and look.
Link a WMO or World of Logs parse illustrating your performance. THIS IS NOT OPTIONAL. Click here if you need help with this.- http://www.wowmeteronline.com//combat/log/1078341
Note: I died at the start of phase 3 because the tank was feared with me and immediately after the fear wore off and before I could pop Icebound Fort and Frost Presence I got cleaved for 40k. What raid experience do you have? Be specific about which bosses you've killed and when.- I have done 25 Ony, 10 Ony, 25 TotC with Warfare (All clear), 10 TotC with Warfare (Clear), VoA25/10. These were all within the last two weeks.
What was the most difficult encounter you've had to learn and how did you go about learning it?- The most difficult encounter was Nefarian when he was first release. Class calls were confusing to the guild so I would warn the call and tell them what to do over Ventrilo and it was easy afterwards. Most raids are pretty easy for me to learn.
We raid Mon through Thurs 6:30-10:30 Pacific time (invites at 6). Will you be able to attend raids at these times? - I will be able to attend these times. I get out at school at 4:40PM the latest (Pacific time)
Please list your computer's stats in a raid environment (fps, ping, etc). Is your internet reliable?- FPS hovers ~15-30 depending on how far I zoom in on the AoE spam. Ping is usually ~115-145
Do you have Ventrilo and speakers/headset? Do you have a working mic?
- I have Ventrilo, a working mic, and headphones.
Which mods do you use to help you raid? Please provide a screenshot of your UI in a raiding environment (THIS IS NOT OPTIONAL). Click here if you need help with this. - I use Deadly Boss Mods, Omen Threat Meter, and a Rune Counter to help me with my rune timing. I usually do not add extra parties to my window as the only extra help I can be is taunting the boss.
http://img301.imageshack.us/i/wowscrnshot101309143951.jpg/ What plans do you have to improve your character outside of a 25-man raid?- For raiding I plan to pick up a crafting profession to help increase my damage and I plan on getting exalted with Sons of Hodir for the shoulder enchant.
How did you hear about Warfare?- My three friends play in Warfare--Turangaa, Fryy, and Fries. They talk about you guys ALL the time.
What was the last progression-oriented guild you were in? Where were they at in progression? Why did your guild's progression stop? Why did you/are you leaving?
- The last guild I was a member of was Omen at level 60 on Dragonmaw. We were the first Horde guild to Naxx. We quit raiding when Burning Crusade came out and I did not continue with them because I was more interested in arena and PvP.
A little less serious: When was the last time you left you computer and what did you do?- I left my computer this morning to go to school.
If you could be any food or beverage, what would you be and why?- I would be caviar because I'm for the rich and famous only!
Do you shit the bed?- I have not and hopefully will never shit the bed.
Bonus: Draw us a picture of your toon in Paint.- http://img169.imageshack.us/i/prowse.jpg/

Cloak and ring need to go fo SHO, and you should get T9 legs for a set bonus. WAY over expertise cap, but I know you know it's 26 and you're trying to get back down. Replacing the ring will get you very, very close. You need about 45 hit rating to meet cap, which you could do immediately with gems, or relatively soon with a +hit ring to replace the Hemorrhaging Anus.Your gems aren't all epic but you're fully gemmed and enchanted, even though you may have to replace gear, which is good. You're a good player, which is good, and you're good with instructions, which is good. I also know you, which is good too.
I'll add for everyone else that Prowse just started playing again a couple of weeks ago with blues and shitty PVP gear, never having seen level 80 dungeons or raids. Every raid you saw him in last week was his first time, including that little KT bungle (which was my fault--I neglected to tell him melee stacks in 2 groups). He takes instruction and criticism very well, and it shows in his lack of suck.
He's done exceptionally well in a short period of time, I predicted it would take him over a month to get into shape for raids and he's very much ahead.
-Under hit cap -Over expertise cap -Replace PVP cloak -Possibly replace legs with T9 for 2 pc -2 Professions -DATZ IT
I would bet he can handle all that before Sunday.

Yeah you probably should have told him, but he wasn't in vent and it took a couple /RWs to get him to move (if he did, I lost track of things after we all got iceblocked). Take what you will from that. While the app overall looks pretty decent, your gear is behind. DKs are pretty broken, but I don't think it would necessarily be a good idea to gear someone essentially from scratch.

Every time a warning went out, he asked "Am I doing something wrong?" and I told him "No." Guess I should have looked closer at the melee grouping, it totally slipped my mind.

The placement on KT was my fault. I should have read his strategy before I joined the raid. I also should have been paying better attention to the raid warnings.

Thought I'd update. I have acquired a couple new pieces of gear, my hit is very close to cap now, and my Jewelcrafting is high enough for dragonseyes so I'll be putting those in my gear soon. Working on enchanting now for rings.
